Medical Fitness is the bridge between rehabilitation and a long, active life: training that is built and led by a health professional who knows your injury and treatment history. At MozgásKlinika Terézváros a session lasts 60 minutes and costs 22,990 HUF. It does not replace a personal trainer; it is meant for a different situation.

What is Medical Fitness?

Medical Fitness is the maintenance programme at the top of the MozgásPiramis®. It focuses on strength, endurance, stability, coordination, balance, movement control and general load tolerance.

It is not simply “a workout”. It is a movement programme designed by a professional who takes your therapy history and current condition into account, in a clinical setting.

How is it different from personal training?

Medical Fitness Personal training
Who leads it? A health professional (physiotherapist) A trainer
Starting point An assessment and your treatment history Training goals and fitness level
Setting Clinic Gym
Place in the process Continuing and keeping the results of rehabilitation General training

The point is not that one is “better”. A good personal trainer can do a lot for someone who is symptom-free and can take load. Training led by a health professional offers more if you have had an injury, surgery or a recurring complaint and want to train with someone who takes that into account when choosing exercises and dosing the load.

When is it worth starting?

After rehabilitation

On the lower levels of the pyramid, pain, range of motion, strength and stability are dealt with. The programme builds on that: the aim is to keep what you have gained and to raise your load tolerance further. Why 12 sessions? explains why stopping when the pain eases is not a good idea.

As prevention

If you sit a lot or have had back trouble before, training led by a professional, with the spine in mind, can be a sensible next step.

Before returning to sport

If you are going back to a specific sport, sport-specific physiotherapy prepares you for its demands.

The therapist tells you where you stand and when training can start, on the basis of the assessment. Book a consultation (opens in a new tab)

What does it cost?

A 60-minute session costs 22,990 HUF. There is also a 12-session pass (250,000 HUF), valid for 3 months. For payment methods see how you can pay.

Frequently asked questions

Can I join if I have not been a patient at the clinic?

The first step is still the assessment: the therapist needs to know your condition and history to build a safe programme.

Is it one-to-one or in a group?

On the Terézváros price list it is an individual session.

Can I train elsewhere as well?

Yes. Tell the therapist what else you do, so they can see your whole weekly load.

The programme exists so that the results of rehabilitation are not lost when the treatments end. Book a consultation (opens in a new tab)
