No. MozgásKlinika Terézváros is a private clinic, so you can book physiotherapy, manual therapy and physical therapy directly, online or by phone, without a referral. The first visit is a 60-minute assessment, and treatment starts in that same session.

Why is no referral needed at a private clinic?

A referral exists to send you from one provider to another. At a private clinic it is not needed: you decide when to ask for help, and you choose from the free appointments. At the clinic on Podmaniczky utca the process starts with an examination, not with paperwork.

That does not make your earlier medical papers useless. If you have a referral, a discharge summary or imaging results (MRI, X-ray, CT), bring them: the physiotherapist reviews them during the assessment and compares them with what the examination shows. None of them is a condition for the consultation.

What if I have already been examined elsewhere?

We still start with an assessment. The therapist does not work from one report or one test: your complaint, your history and several examination findings are weighed together. More on this on the first assessment page.

How do you book?

  1. Online, in the Salonic booking system, at any time of day. For a first visit choose the category “Első alkalommal – Állapotfelmérés” (first visit, assessment).
  2. By phone during opening hours: +36 30 403 1857. The clinic is open Monday to Friday 7:00–20:00 and Saturday 8:00–14:00.
  3. With a specific therapist: on the team page every physiotherapist has a direct booking link.

Our physiotherapists speak Hungarian and English. If you are not sure which treatment to choose, book the assessment and the therapist will recommend the next step. Book a consultation (opens in a new tab)

What happens after you book?

You receive a confirmation. If something comes up, you can change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, by phone or email; within 24 hours the session fee is payable. Details are on the prices and passes page.

Bring comfortable sportswear and a change of shoes. What happens at your first physiotherapy visit walks you through the 60 minutes.

When should you see a doctor first?

Physiotherapists deal with musculoskeletal complaints. Some signs mean our clinic is not the first stop.

When not to wait

See a doctor promptly if:

  • the pain started after a fall or an accident;
  • it comes with fever, unexplained weight loss or feeling generally unwell;
  • you notice numbness or weakness in an arm or a leg, or it is getting worse;
  • your bladder or bowel control has changed, or you have lost feeling around the saddle area: this is an emergency;
  • you have pain at night that does not ease at rest.
